Alien - The existing Republic Guide - SWTOR Republic Classes Quick Overview
Are you looking for a The exorcist: The existing Republic Guide? Well, unfortunately I cannot write a whole one here, to cover all the slices of game content. However, in this article I'll provide you with a quick overview about the SWTOR classes.

    SWTOR Leveling Guide

By reading this brief Alien: The existing Republic Guide, you will understand without reading an excessive amount of what role can each SWTOR class fulfill, and hopefully you'll make the best choice when designing your character and choosing a specialization tree.

If you choose to play on the nice side of the force, joining the Galactic Republic faction, you can select from four different main classes: Jedi Knight, Jedi Consular, Smuggler and Trooper.

The Jedi Knight. These kinds excels at close combat. Like a Jedi Knight you are able to choose to get Guardian (tank), wielding one lightsaber and heavy armor or Sentinel (melee DPS) wielding two one-handed lightsabers and inflicting high amounts of close range DPS. Being a JK, you'll be relying specially on lightsaber attacks, and many of which have awesome animation.

The Jedi Consular. This kind of jedi, is much more of your caster type, speaking in MMO terms. It is possible to follow two paths as a Jedi Consular, Shadow and Sage. If you are going to follow the Sage specialization, with respect to the skill tree that you will choose, it is possible to become whether force-healer of a force-wielding damage dealer. The cisco kid Jedi Consulars on the other hand are double-blade lightsaber damage dealers, which also be given a stealth ability and stealth-based attacks.

The Smuggler. There's no doubt this is actually the cunning class from the Republic, using a solid arsenal of crowd control and crippling attacks. Being a Smuggler you can be a Gunslinger, dual-wielding two blasters, concentrating on precise ranged DPS, or you can select the Scoundrel specialization, which may either act as a healer or off-healer, or like a DPS class with stealth and stealth-based ranged attacks.

The Trooper. The final class to be mentioned on this Star Wars: That old Republic guide for that Republic faction will be the heavy assault, ranged DPS class - the Trooper. Whilst they use heavy machine guns or rifles, Troopers can cover all of the roles amongst people, tank, healer or heavy DPS, depending on advancement specialization and skill tree they choose. The two paths a Trooper can choose from are Commando and Vanguard. Like a Commando you will be either a professional gunner depending on a whopping assault cannon, or perhaps a combat medic. However, like a Vanguard you can be a medium ranged DPS, with a number of interesting short range attacks, or even a shield specialist, which boosts their armor factor becoming capable of sustain a lot of heavy damage and hold aggro - that could be a tank role.
